4+1 Accelerated Master’s Program

4+1 Accelerated Master’s Program (MPH or MS in Population Health)

Students who are pursuing a BS in population health or a BA in community and global health can earn a MS in Population Health or a MPH at an accelerated pace. Students accepted into the 4+1 accelerated program begin taking graduate classes during the junior and senior years and complete the program one year after graduating with their BS or BA. Current Lehigh students enrolled in the College of Health who earn a minimum overall GPA of 3.5 may elect to be enrolled in the 4+1 accelerated program once they have achieved junior standing, a minimum of 54 credits. All other students must apply for acceptance.

Benefits Include:

  • Tuition discount of 20% on graduate courses
  • Direct entry for students with 3.5 or better
  • Degree completion in half the time

Careers in Health

Lehigh’s College of Health alumni may pursue careers in the private sector, nonprofit organizations, or local, state, federal and international governmental institutions, or go on to obtain graduate-level research or clinical training. They may work in fields including epidemiology, medicine, data science, biostatistics, global health, health economics, health policy, community health, health promotion, and health technology and innovation.
