Community & Global Health
At Lehigh, health research goes far beyond the classroom. You will work directly alongside communities to identify urgent health priorities, design real solutions and evaluate what actually works on the ground.
You will examine the social, biological and environmental factors that drive health inequities—gaining the practical skills needed to spark lasting change. Our faculty guide you in field research, behavioral health theories and cutting-edge health technology. Together, we address public health needs locally and globally, focusing on vital areas such as:
- Health and wellbeing of disabled and Indigenous communities
- Support and advocacy for people who use drugs
- Health promotion in Black, Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities
