Partnerships

The College of Health advances research and community impact through strong partnerships with healthcare systems, community organizations, industry, and government agencies. These collaborations allow faculty and students to test ideas in real-world settings, translate research into practice, and develop practical skills while addressing pressing health challenges in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. For partners, engagement with the College provides access to emerging research, opportunities to help shape new solutions, and a pipeline of well-prepared graduates equipped to address evolving health needs.

Clinical partners include, for example, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Jefferson Health–Lehigh Valley Health Network, Geisinger, and BAYADA Home Health Care, where collaborations support work in rehabilitation science, aging and home-based care, health system innovation, and disability-focused research.

The College also collaborates with industry partners—including biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, medical device and assistive technology firms, and healthcare analytics companies—on research, data analysis, product development, and workforce training.

Community and civic partners throughout the Lehigh Valley include the Allentown and Bethlehem school districts and health departments, along with nonprofit organizations such as the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living, New Bethany, and the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. Partnerships also extend to the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, and a wide range of nonprofit, philanthropic, and municipal partners across the region and beyond.

Companies, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies interested in collaborating with College of Health researchers or engaging students in applied projects are encouraged to explore opportunities through Lehigh’s partnership gateway.
