Dr. Zogheib is a Teaching Full Professor of Biostatistics and Health Data Science. His research bridges computational mathematics, applied statistics, data science, and educational innovation to train the next generation of health data scientists.
His academic profile spans multiple interconnected disciplines:
- Biostatistics & Health Data Science: Applying advanced statistical modeling and data analytics to clinical outcomes, health-related research, and biomedical
data. - Computational Mathematics: Maintaining an active research program in numerical methods for partial differential equations and computational fluid
dynamics. - Mathematics Education: Conducting scholarly work on innovative pedagogical approaches in higher education.
Dr. Zogheib brings over 25 years of university teaching experience and more than 12 years of administrative leadership to his role. He previously served as Department Chair of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and as Associate Dean for Administration at the American University of Kuwait. His prior faculty appointments include positions at the University of Windsor (Canada), Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and Nova Southeastern University (Florida).
