Kendall O’Brien is a retired finance executive from Johnson & Johnson where she was a key leader in Strategic, Portfolio and Financial Planning across Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Consumer. At the corporate level, she led the acquisition and divestiture process and partnered with the chief scientific officer on the Global Innovation Portfolio, the launch and investments of the Lung Cancer Initiative, and the expansion of Global Public Health impact.
Kendall is a recognized talent and diversity, equity and inclusion champion with a demonstrated track record in strong people development. As a mother of two, she is a lifetime advocate for working parents and work life integration. She co-created J&J’s Finance Leadership Development Program and approaches to organizational health. Kendall is the former chair of the Global Women’s Leadership Initiative and sponsor for the Finance African Ancestry Leadership Council. She served on several external advisory boards.
Kendall earned her Bachelor’s degree in both accounting and finance at Lehigh University. She serves on the Lehigh University Board of Trustees, The Nature Conservancy of New Jersey Board of Trustees, and the Cranford Downtown Management Corporation as well as several local community organizations.
