Mark Mactas '74

Mark V. Mactas '74 is retired chairman and chief executive officer of Towers Perrin (now part of Willis Towers Watson). Since he retired, he has served on numerous boards, including Accolade, Envision Healthcare and Save the Children, where he served as Vice Chair of the Board. He also served on the Lehigh University Board of Trustees, including its Executive Committee, from 2011 through 2022, chairing several committees. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, where he served as President. He was also a Board member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Lehigh in 1974.
