Lehigh College of Health Partner Networking Event

On November 10, 2022, Lehigh University’s College of Health (COH) held a Partner Networking Event for students and faculty to be introduced to companies and organizations with whom the college has been working to establish partnerships. These interorganizational partnerships focus on faculty research collaboration and student internships/future employment opportunities. Representatives talked with students and faculty about their organization's mission and what opportunities there are for engagement within that organization and COH partnership(s). The event was organized by COH Student Experience manager, Jen Topp.

The following organizations are among those who had representatives in attendance, some of whom are Lehigh alums:

• Allentown Health Bureau
• Bayada Home Health Care
• FIS Global
• Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine 
• IQVIA
• Lehigh Valley Health Network 
• Memorial Sloan Kettering 
• Monocacy Farm Project 

The event also gave COH students the opportunity to practice their networking skills by introducing themselves and talking about their specific interests in health, along with their career goals. Population Health major Jace Hannah ‘24 said about the event, “Attending the networking event was an amazing experience! I was able to meet so many incredible people and hear first-hand about the incredible job opportunities that exist in the fields that I’m interested in. The partners that attended were eager to share potential internship opportunities with us and talk about their past experiences as well.”

The event was well attended by COH students, faculty, and staff.
