Final application deadlines depend on where you apply from. For the fall 2026 term, applications are due on:

When do classes start?

Classes for the MPH program begin in late August.

What prerequisites need to be met to apply?

In order to be eligible for the MPH degree, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 on a standard 4.0 grading scale. A GPA of at least 3.0 is recommended for consideration for merit scholarships.

How long does the degree take to complete?

Students in this program are required to complete 42 credit hours, which is typically completed in two years of full-time study. Part-time options are also available as well as accelerated options for current Lehigh students participating in the 4+1 program.

Are scholarships available?

All full-time applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships, which cover 10% to 50% of tuition. Awards above 10% are highly competitive, and funding is limited—priority is given to early applicants.
